About Barbara Norman

Barbara began her career in financial services in 1986. She is the CEO and Founder of Sage Path Solutions, a boutique firm that offers financial planning and wealth management. She is a graduate of UCSD, a Certified Financial Planner™, a Chartered Financial Consultant®, and a Certified Divorce Financial Analyst®. Barbara is a fee-only advisor and adheres to the CFP Board’s strict fiduciary standards of putting her customers’ needs first.

In 2011 Barbara founded the Women’s Financial Academy™, a California non-profit foundation that is dedicated to the education of women who are going through vulnerable life and financial transitions. She wrote a robust curriculum that offers hands-on education for investments, financial planning, taxes, estate planning, and caring for elderly loved ones. She aims to help women take control of their assets and feel confident in their decisions.

Barbara is a member of The North County Estate Planning Council, The SoCal Compliance Group, The San Diego Family Law Bar Association, Auxilium, and a past member of Ed Slotts’ Master Elite IRA Advisor Group.

She volunteers for the Scripps Health Foundation - Gift Planning Advisory Board, she is a frequent speaker and volunteer instructor at Oasis, and she is a guest speaker for numerous educational, non-profit, and women’s organizations.
